Can you describe your sound in three words?
Answer: Melodic, Heavy, Ethereal
How did you first get into making music?
Answer: I first started making beats on my iPad in GarageBand for fun.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
Answer: I think my biggest influence comes from all the people who have mentored me in music!
What's the story behind your latest release?
Answer: This release is really supposed to capture the way I want my music to be on both sides of the spectrum of bass music. I want to incorporate melodic and heavy music in a unique way, and I also want to create tracks that are solely melodic and solely melodic in my own style.
Can you walk me through your creative process when making a track?
Answer: My creative process usually starts with a sound design session and then creating a track from whatever sounds I made.
How do you balance staying true to your sound while also trying new things?
Answer: To balance staying true to myself, I try to only listen to other types of music besides EDM in my free time so I'm not too influenced by other people's sounds, but it's honestly very difficult. Especially when I have to find new music for live sets and see new music from my friends all the time.
What's been the biggest challenge you've faced as an artist?
Answer: The biggest challenge has been balancing school, sports, and music all at the same time because it is extremely draining and time-consuming, but getting a good routine going has helped me a lot.
What's been your favorite gig or festival to play at?
Answer: My favorite gig so far has been when I opened for Subtronics at the Rialto in Tucson.
How do you like to connect with your fans?
Answer: I love connecting through my weekly streams every Wednesday, and I try to stay super active in my DMs on Instagram! I also love talking to people at shows. 🙂
What's one thing most people don't know about you?
Answer: I think most people don't know that I've played volleyball for about 13 years.
How do you stay motivated and inspired when making music?
Answer: Staying motivated and inspired can be extremely hard sometimes, but I love watching documentaries on bands or artists I love, and that always gets me inspired. For me, motivation comes from me challenging myself to be the best artist I can be.
What's one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring artist?
Answer: Some advice I would give aspiring musicians is to never give up, even when things can seem down sometimes. I've realized being an artist comes with a lot of ups and downs. Some weeks I will make three amazing songs that I am super proud of, and sometimes I won't make anything for weeks. You just have to keep pushing through, and the results will come in time!
What's the craziest thing that's ever happened to you while on tour?
Answer: The craziest thing that has happened to me at a show is when someone spilled water on the decks while I was playing.

Answer: My next goal is to play a major festival!
What's one thing you're looking forward to in the next year?
Answer: Throughout the next year, I'm looking forward to really solidifying my brand and making it stronger. I want to have a story or message in my music, and I want that to show! I'm also looking forward to a bunch of shows I have lined up.
What's your favorite song (that you haven't made)?
Answer: My favorite song depends on my mood, but right now, it would be "Rollin On" by the Murlocs.
If you weren't making music, what do you think you'd be doing instead?
